The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Information Network (O*NET, www.onetonline.org) is seeking assistance from experts who have at least 5 years of marketing experience that includes at least 2 years specializing in Green Marketing: those who create and implement methods to market green products and services. Those who are supervising, teaching or training Green Marketers are also considered experts IF they have worked as a Green Marketer for at least one year in the past.
O*NET, America’s primary source of occupational information, is a service to students, employers, human resource professionals, job counselors and labor market analysts across the country, providing information about the skills, abilities, activities and work context for about 900 occupations nationwide. Experts will be asked to complete several O*NET questionnaires to provide information on their field of expertise.
This is the first time the occupation of Green Marketers has been described on the O*NET Database so the help of the industry’s top experts is urgently needed to assure we have accurate and up-to-date information about this work.
Please contact Traci E. Davis at the O*NET Operations Center, RTI International: 877-233-7348, Ext. 109 or by email tdavis@onet.rti.org if you would like to assist with this project.
Further information about the O*NET initiative can be found at www.doleta.gov/programs/onet
