Mira Lares serves as AMA Baltimore’s VP Mentorship and Professional Development, which is a newly formed committee providing specialized opportunities and programs for local marketers to connect and advance. Mira recently launched Mentor Connections, an annual mentorship program connecting seasoned marketers with tomorrow’s marketing leaders.
Outside of our Chapter, Mira is the Principal of Lares Consulting Group, a consortium of researchers and strategists that help business leaders propel their organizations forward. Mira believes using research with key stakeholders to improve the underlying strategies that organizations run on can increase efficiencies and employee and customer engagement.
Mira originally joined AMA in her hometown of Toronto and when she moved to Baltimore became involved with our local chapter. She has been an active Board member with AMA Baltimore serving as our Chapter’s Secretary from 2013 to 2016 when she launched the Mentorship and Professional Development committee and assumed the role as VP.
Mira holds a BAH from Queen’s University and a graduate degree from York University in Toronto. In her free time, Mira is an avid traveler having visited over 25 countries and enjoys participating in volunteer opportunities.
