BALTIMORE, MD – Marketers from local American Marketing Association chapters based out of Boston to North Carolina will converge in Charm City next month. Each year, chapter leaders from various regions around the country gather for a weekend of learning, idea sharing, and networking. The American Marketing Association Baltimore Chapter (AMA Baltimore) will play host to the AMA Northeast Regional Retreat on November 10th and 11th, 2017. The retreat provides AMA leaders a platform to help their leadership teams discuss challenges and share best practices within the organization.

“We are honored and excited to host this year’s regional retreat,” says AMA Baltimore President, Dov Hoffman. “As a marketing organization committed to being the area’s leading provider of continuing education, networking opportunities and industry resources for marketing professionals, collaborating with regional and national AMA leaders helps us to achieve our goal of making marketers better marketers.

During the retreat, leaders will attend educational and inspiring sessions designed to encourage collaboration on membership, communication, event strategy, and more. Attendees will leave with ideas that will cultivate and promote thriving AMA chapters.

“One of the key factors that contributes to the growth of marketers throughout the country is the American Marketing Association. By design, annual events such as the regional retreat provide local chapter leaders the resources they need to strategically plan and be successful by leveraging successes and challenges from others in a similar position,” said Hoffman.

The chapters joining AMA Baltimore include:

  • Boston
  • Central Virginia
  • Connecticut
  • Fairfield County
  • Hampton Roads
  • New Jersey
  • New York
  • New York Capital Region
  • Philadelphia
  • Pittsburgh
  • Richmond
  • Rochester
  • Triangle
  • Washington DC

While in Baltimore, guests will stay at Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor to get a local taste for Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. Friday evening starts with a social happy hour followed by dinner at Little Havana. Programming will be held at Price Modern. Sponsorship opportunities are available.
