AMA Baltimore Names New Board of Directors for 2019-2020

BALTIMORE MD. (July 1, 2019) – The Baltimore Chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Baltimore) today announced that its members have elected Brynn Devereaux as new Board President, as well as the addition of four new Vice President-level Board members for the 2019-2020 year. 

Brynn Devereaux is an experienced marketing professional with demonstrated success in helping businesses build their brands through compelling and refreshing imagery. Previously serving on the board as Vice President of Marketing and Communications, she worked with board members, sponsors, and programming to generate relevant content to engage area marketers and promote the AMA Baltimore chapter. In her current role as Director of Operations and Marketing at Coyle Studios, Devereaux leads marketing and communications efforts, pre- and post- shot project management, as well as business development. Devereaux graduated from Towson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in English. 

Additional members new to the Board this year include:

Lauren Yoffe, Marketing Automation Specialist at Alliance Franchise Brands, will serve as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Claire Howachyn, Account Executive at Van Eperen, will serve as Vice President of Marketing and Communications. Steve Kozak, Strategic Marketing Consultant at KLUTCH Inc. will assume the role of Vice President of Mentorship and Professional Development. Jessica Reighard, Marketing Director of Brookes Publishing will become Vice President of Member Engagement.  

Retaining their current Board positions into the coming year are: Dov Hoffman, Project Director at Right Source Marketing; Philippe Lerner, MBA, President at PL Bookkeeping Plus; Christian Bielski, Manager of Sales and Marketing at Shapiro Negotiations Institute; Mark Edelson, Esquire, a member in the Business Litigation Practice Group at Silverman Thompson Slutkin & White, LLC; Seth Geller, Client Technology Manager at Helion Technologies; Will Smallman, Vice President of Business Development at Fifteen4; Anne Rubin, Senior Strategist at WebMechanix; and Jess Baynton, Marketing Director of Ford Motor Company. Joe Wagner, Business Development and Marketing at HBP Inc. will become the Board’s Immediate Past President.

“With a board strong in marketing expertise in several different industries, we are looking forward to continuing to offer the thought leadership our volunteers and members seek,” said Brynn Devereaux, AMA Board President-elect. “The future of our chapter is in excellent hands, already laying the groundwork for a successful year of networking events and professional development opportunities to upcoming, present, and seasoned marketing professionals of the Baltimore metropolitan area.”
