AMA Baltimore Wins Two Chapter Excellence Awards

BALTIMORE, MD – The American Marketing Association Baltimore Chapter (AMA Baltimore) is proud to be recognized as recipients of two Chapter Excellence Awards (CEA) for their work in Finance and Communications during 2018-2019.

“Established in 1974, the CEA program highlights AMA professional chapters’ outstanding achievements in all areas of chapter operations, such as strategic planning, volunteer management, membership engagement, programming delivery, and financial management,” writes the American Marketing Association (AMA). 

“It is an honor to be recognized by AMA with awards in Finance Excellence and Communications Excellence,” says Joe Wagner, Immediate Past President. “Our team — especially our Marketing and Communications Committee — worked extremely hard last year to provide outstanding resources for our AMA Baltimore community. We could not be prouder of what we have achieved.”

The AMA Board for 2018 – 2019 included Wagner as President, Brynn Devereaux as President Elect and VP of Marketing + Communications, Dov Hoffman as Immediate Past President and VP of Programming, Christian Bielski as Secretary, Philippe Lerner as VP of Finance, Seth Geller as VP of Membership, Will Smallman as VP of Sponsorship, Anne Rubin as VP of Collegiate Relations, Dana Hamer as VP of Mentorship + Professional Development, Mark Edelson as General Counsel, and Jessica Baynton as VP of Volunteer Engagement.

The AMA Baltimore 2018 – 2019 Marketing + Communications committee included Adam Yosim, Casey Callanan, Claire Howachyn, Debbie Shapiro, Jessica Lewis, Lauren Yoffe, Lindsey Rowell, Nicole Haslip, Rachel Heck, and Rebecca Chadwick.
