AMA in the AM: Building Your Personal Brand

What does your personal brand say about you? Do you know what your digital footprint is telling the world? We all have our own personal brands, whether or not we have consciously created them for ourselves. The choice is yours: will you take the time to define your own brand or let it be cultivated for you?

As marketers, we are constantly focused on developing our organization’s brand and marketing our products, but we often overlook how important it is to build our own personal brand and market ourselves. Personal branding can be extremely impactful for us as professionals. Every interaction matters, whether you’re trying to gain recognition in the marketing community, advance in your current company, or simply expand your network.

Your personal brand doesn’t stop with your work. How you present yourself in person, online, and through your outside interests can have a positive or negative affect on how people perceive you. Our past AMA in the AM served as an exciting panel discussion about the importance of personal branding and how to create and build a brand for yourself.

During this presentation, our panelists discussed:

  • The Concept of Personal Branding
  • What Personal Branding Means for You and Your Career
  • How to Create Your Personal Brand Effectively and Efficiently
  • Why Personal Branding Matters Today More Than Ever
