Baltimore’s top marketing campaigns were honored April 6, 2017 at the 32nd Annual Marketing Excellence Awards at the Hyatt Regency Baltimore Inner Harbor. Sixteen area organizations were recognized by AMA Baltimore for winning campaigns in specific channels or industries, with Maryland Auto Insurance taking the top prize for Best Overall Campaign. Carroll Hospice and Euler Hermes were 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively. The nearly 150 attendees enjoyed a cocktail reception and networking, followed by the awards presentations.
“We were thrilled to have such a great turnout to honor the Baltimore area’s top marketing campaigns,” said Dov Hoffman, president of the AMA Baltimore chapter. “This event is always the highlight of our year and we enjoy the opportunity to bring the local marketing community together.”
The categories and winners of the 32nd Annual Marketing Excellence Awards:

- Best Branding Campaign: Kiddie Academy
- Best Digital Marketing Campaign: WebMechanix
- Best Direct Marketing Campaign: JCC of Greater Baltimore
- Best Email Marketing Campaign: Alexander & Tom
- Best Event Marketing Campaign: Unleashed Technologies
- Best Higher Education Campaign: Acura (Agency: Johns Hopkins University Apex Blue Strategies)
- Best Integrated B2B Campaign: Constellation (Agency: Weber Shandwick)
- Best Integrated B2C Campaign: BGE
- Best Integrated Non-Profit Campaign: Greater Baltimore Cultural Alliance (Agency: TBG)
- Best Marketing Technology Campaign: Maryland Health Benefit Exchange
- Best Public Relations Campaign: Strategic Factory
- Best Social Media Campaign: Order&Chaos
In addition to the awards, seven local full-time students who are pursuing studies in marketing or a related field received AMA Undergraduate Marketing Education Scholarships:

- Sarah Joseph, University of Maryland College Park – $1,000, Book Scholarship
- Angelina Bingei, University of Maryland College Park – $1,000, Book Scholarship

- Jonathan Nass, Towson University – $500, Book Scholarship
- Cameron Rogers, University of Maryland College Park – $500, Book Scholarship
- Grecia Rojas, Prince George’s Community College – $500, Book Scholarship
